Nice campsites friendly staff peaceful I will visit them again
ZERO Stars!!! If you aren't 80+ and will only sit in your camper the whole time don't stay here! They are so rude! Don't like kids! Gave us a hard time about "speeding" through the camp at 5 miles per hour (their limit) and said we were speeding and creating dust. It has been very dry! Told us our campfire too tall and threatened to throw us out because our guests didn't stop at the office before coming down. So mad, we will never stay here again! Too bad it was pretty, but not enjoyable at all.
This used to be one of our favorite campgrounds. We had our first family camping trip with our children there in 1994 and at least once a year since then with our grandchildren, except for the past 2 years.They are not family friendly anymore. The old woman in the office is very rude, the campground was empty the entire week we were there, likely due to look her behaviours. The camp store had very little except for a small selection of treats for kids but the miserable woman running it made the kids feel unwelcomed. We will not be returning.
It's beautiful here. The sites a spacious and clean.
I must say that these are the rudest campground proprietors that we have ever encountered. When we first got here we literally were chased down to the campsite by this man saying "we have a problem here" all we did was forget to stop off at the office on the way down to get a car pass. Than on the way back down in to the campground this very unpleasant woman accuses me of doing over 5 mph and argues with me about my car, accusing me of throwing up "rooster tails". Well its been so dry even the bicycles are throwing up dirt! Instead of taking me aside she makes a public mockery of me and brow beat me in front of little kids. This is not a family friendly campground. Views are beautiful but that's all it has going for it. Never ever again will we stay here. This place is not recommended to anyone.
